Enhancement: Ajax

I added a very cool grid to the recent entries page. Check it out (registered users):

https://collect.rcache.com/recent/

The grid looks up the last 300 entries you have cached, and keeps a list of them cached in your browser for very quick paging and sorting. I will be rolling out these kinds of small enhancements little by little. I really do not think you need to use AJAXish features throughout an application like rCache, only where it matters.

Please send your feedback my way on this blog or via the Google Group.

Thanks!

Mozilla add-ons site

There seems to be an unflattering review of rCache Collector at the Mozilla Add-ons site. I placed a review myself, with a disclaimer mentioning that I am the author of the extension... Anyway, if any rCache users out there that actually use rCache (and like it) wouldn't mind placing a review of the extension for me I would appreciate it! No big deal, it's just that the only review up there is so negative, and was placed by someone who will never use rCache or any other similar service. It's sad, really.

User Interface, fonts

I have been tweaking the user interface and the fonts for rCache. Please let me know if you approve or not. Tweaking the interface can also be a bit annoying, so let me know if it is at all bothersome. Sometimes it is difficult to stop making little changes, luckily for you I usually only deploy small, smart changes to the live site. I test everything offline first.

New How-to movies

I updated the movies that explain how to install and use the rCache Collector Firefox extension. I added commentary to the movies so you do not have to guess what is happening.

Keep those great comments and tips going in the rCache-Talk Google Group
